In general, I am not a fan (I located BM to be suitable sufficient, yet not great, although, these days, far much better than Maison Indian Curry which is situated close by).

One of the better South Indian food in Montreal. The only one I understand is the one in Cte-des-Neiges. There are little problems I noticed, across the years, such as a sambar that is in some cases a bit mushy for my taste, yet in general the food tastes excellent (some of my favorite dishes at LC: Mendu vada, Masala dosa).

Jokes aside, what makes Indian food real is its flavour account, not the truth that the level of warm of the flavors is tongue-splitting/mouth -burning, and even at that video game, le 409 is using appropriate level of warmth where it need to be. In various other words, for a compos mentis person (one that truly knows Indian food wherefore it is, and not for what his dreams desire it to be), le 409 is providing correct Indian flavour profiles.

It utilized to be one of my best Indian areas in Montreal. On my last check out here, I did not discover the food to be as wonderful as it used to.

A humble looking pocket eatery offering pocket-friendly Indian food. Provided their wonderful place rates, expecting the finest Indian food in community to come from them would certainly be as delusional as it can be. As a cost-effective operation, CIR is difficult to beat, in Montreal, these days.
